Self Catering Rooms
Stratton Farm was for many years a dairy farm. Until 2017 it was owned by the same family for 110 years. The Old Dairy was originally a farm building used for making cheese and storage of animal feed. The building was converted in 2007 into B&B accommodation and has more recently been completely refurbished.
The Farmhouse and surrounding buildings are Grade II listed . They are in need of a lot of TLC and are in the process of being upgraded with the intention of providing outstanding holiday accommodation.
Tea/Coffee Making Facilities
In each room there is a kettle and fridge. A good selection of coffee, tea and herbal infusions are supplied. Fresh milk is provided on your arrival.
We are in the process of upgrading to fibre optic broadband.
Well behaved dogs are welcome. Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring your pooch. There are many beautiful walks to enjoy.
On Site Parking
There is ample parking in the couryard which is accessed from the High Street.
These are available for a small fee.
Each room has its own entrance.
THINGS TO DO
Wells claims to be England's smallest city. It is a beautiful, historic market town. The Cathedral and Bishop's Palace are well worth a visit.
Bruton claims to be England's smallest town. It is teh home of the world-reknowned art gallery Hauser and Wirth which also has a good restaurant.
Bath and West Showground
Just 2 miles away, a huge 240 acre venue which is host to a huge number of agricultural events and events of every description.
Visit the old Jailhouse , the Kilver Court Designer Village and the Kilver Court Gardens.
Visit Britain's biggest gorge, take in the dramatic cliffs rising up 450ft and explore the stunning stalactite caverns below.
This World renowned beauty spot is not only a National Nature Reserve but also a famous site of pre-historic discoveries and home to X-Treme; Cheddar Gorge's caving and rock climbing activity centre.
Glastonbury and Street
Glastonbury abounds in spiritiual attractions - Glastonbusty Abbey, Chalice Well and don't miss the views from Glastonbury Tor. For the shoppers, Street's Clarks Village Outlet Shopping is a must.
